Happy 2008-Print screen

I hope to get my paypal mess behind me soon .They put the money in my paypal and I sent it back to my bank .So just waiting for it to clear into account now and my bank should drop all the overdrawn fees at least that's what I was told by several of their employees .This was a scary happening that someone could just start pulling money out like that especially that you don't even have. I'm thinking I may set my account up with a new email also and just use it for ebay. That's what I mostly use paypal for anyway. I was on American Girl website trying to find some clipart for a scrapbook page .They have some wallpapers of each historial character.My niece got Samantha for Christmas .She was used but she didn't seem to care. I got her from a friend with no clothes and I got a Samantha dress and found some socks and shoes that matched .I made a panties pattern and sewed some underwear.I also found some ribbon to go in her hair .My niece was taking her Samantha doll to a sleepover so I think she was happy with her. If your daughter has the paper dolls of any of the historial characters she can download a extra outfit when you match the correct accessories and clothes with the right girl. I pieced a doll of Samantha together by punching printscreen and go to a picture software that does paste and copy open a empty page and paste the top half and crop out the screen frame and then print screen again with the bottom of the doll and crop screen frame and then open a new empty page and paste both of these together move them around and it the pieces line up .I forgot to mention to zoom in on the doll before print screen
She will be a fuzzy I added a illusion texture to her from Microsoft Picture It and now she looks pretty good I haven't printed the outfit but will probably have to print a draft a couple of times to get the right size to fit her. I'll downloaded all the outfits and saved them . I may print out a smaller one for my scrapbook page and also if your daughter wants a American Girl party use the wallpaper for invitations and making accessories for your party. If your picture program has a soft focus you could try that or a texture plugin that makes the doll look like canvas texture . I use the print screen for a lot of things like clipart samples and then just crop out the unwanted parts. I wouldn't add any of these to a website or anything like that just for personal use only.

Taking Christmas Pictures and Videos and Etc.

My family celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve this year because my dad had to work both days we had it at night. My nieces who are 3 and 11 of course wanted to start opening presents the minute they came in the door but that's kids for you My mom is worse than a two year old about wanting to peek in the bags and etc. I love to take pictures of my nieces and family but I don't really like my picture taken :) My youngest niece was very excited and of course she couldn't believe she had so many presents.I walk with a cane so when she saw her baton in her socking stuffer bag she asked" Is this my cane?" I got it on video and we all thought it was cute .I couldn't afford much this year because I'm not able to work so my mom gave me some money to buy a few gifts and I made a couple of things . I printed a packet of pictures for my sister-in-law to share with her family .I use a Kodak 6.2 megapixel with a 10 x zoom it takes nice pictures I used my tripod alot this time because I couldn't stand up alot .If you have a camera with 6 or higher megapixel I recommend getting a ac adapter to plug it to electricity because even with rechargable batteries the power of the batteries doesn't last long exspecially if you take video clips and take pictures too. We had a good time but when they left I was hurting so bad I was about to cry. I truly believe if it weren't for my family,computer,camera I would be crazy already because I miss the life I had before I got hurt and my friends I use to have. I remember my grandmother gave me for Christmas my first camera as a child and I have loved taking pictures since then. I began paper scrapbooking and have got into more of computer scrapbooking because it's easier to do and guess what I got for Christmas Scrapbooking stuff stickers,books and etc. I will still use them sometime of course it just will be a lot slower than I use to be able to do it. I miss being able to make the majority of my gifts because that's what I always enjoyed making stuff for family and friends .

Adding a graphic

I love the web and I am finally beginning to understand enough about copy and paste html that I got a graphic to work on my blog I was thrilled I'm going to try and make a few kits of scrapbooking kits to have to download soon for free I am signed up on myspace so I may tackle a layout for myspace next. I am not a newbie to the net and have used computers for years but something about the html always confused me I was listening to Adsense help to configure out how to cut and paste and some of it finally clicked. I doubt I can ever hand write my own code for layouts like AshBo but was just thrilled to figure out a little I downloaded my graphic from Webfetti in case anyone was wondering

Digital Scrapbooking

I love Scrapbooking but the materials cost so much and now there is Digital Scrapbooking I have a few favorite picture programs that I think I can't live without .Microsoft Picture It 2000 and yes I know there were versions after this but it is still my favorite I tried the last version out that Microsoft made and it's no wonder they will no longer make this photo software They messed up by changing the format and it made the program a lot more complex the normal users . There is Gimp 2 that is free and you can use the Adobe plugins with this I believe .I also love Paint Shop Pro but version 9 is what I have but there are tutorials for PSP that still use version 4 and that was a while ago . If you search on google or dogpile you can get all kinds of free stuff for psp like tubes brushes plugins patterns ,etc. You can probably still find some stuff for Microsoft Picture It even but if you don't want to make your own supplies for digital scrapbooking there are plenty of freebies available also. Just look up Free Digital Scrapbooking on google or dogpile and you should find a lot of Free Digital Scrapbooking materials to get you started There are tutorials also for helping to learn about Digital Scrapbooking Most printer companies like hewett packard and epson have craft free printables and scrapbooking materials on there websites If you want to make and print there are lots of websites that also have materials to print to use for scrapbooking in a scrapbook If you like Paperdolls www.makingfriends.com is a great website for printable paperdolls I have made a lot of paperdolls for my nieces from this website and also google free paperdolls and you will find other sites also My youngest niece recently found her sister paperdolls I made her when she was little .I had made a paperdoll of my oldest niece and her sister thought it was herself . So this Christmas I am giving her own paperdoll of herself. What I did was download a free paperdoll and crop or erase the face and place my nieces faces behind the doll and print out the clothes that go with her .I hope she enjoys it paperdoll as much as her sister did. If you want to make printable stuff for dollhouses or Barbie at http:// www.printmini.com/printables / I also love computer crafting I have made banners and other computer printable crafts for family and friends adding photos to t-shirts ,calendars ,candy bars I have PrintArtist for banner making and etc. If you can save your pictures with a cd or dvd burner make sure you write what's on them when you burn the disc I have spent a lot of hours looking through discs that I had no idea and if you like some of the digital scrap booking stuff save it on a disc because if they discontinue it and you liked it your going to be disappointed if they remove it from the website .So if you find something you think you might like to use sometime for your scrap booking save it but if you like to post your layouts you might want to make notes where you got your materials to give them credit for their work and if you want to digital scrapbook to sell make sure you don't use someone else stuff make it yourself.
